Overview
The Serengeti National Park is Tanzania's oldest and most famous park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. Its name comes from the Maasai word "Siringet" meaning "endless plains" - and endless they are, stretching across 14,763 square kilometers.
