Itinerary
Depart Dar es Salaam at 6:00 AM for the 4-5 hour drive to Mikumi National Park. Arrive at your lodge/tented camp, check in, and enjoy lunch. Afternoon game drive from 3:00-6:00 PM exploring the Mkata Floodplain. Dinner and overnight at lodge.
Early morning game drive (6:00-9:00 AM) when wildlife is most active. Return to lodge for breakfast. Mid-day rest. Afternoon game drive (3:00-6:30 PM) to different areas of the park. Spot lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and maybe leopards. Dinner and overnight.
